Day 24: What is the game you’re most likely to give to others?
This isn’t really that hard of a question. I’m pretty sure that, in my 50 years on this planet, I’ve only gifted things from one RPG to others: Dungeons & Dragons.
I have been known to purchase dice and miniatures for friends and fellow gamers, and, on occasion, I have gifted rule books, dice bags, and even modules.
But the most frequent RPG gift I hand out are the game sessions themselves. Predominately Dungeons & Dragons, of course, but in the last three years or so we’ve also snuck in some Conan and even playtested an early version of the Occult Detective RPG.
The best part about a gaming session is not only is it a great gift to give, but it’s an even better gift to receive.
